Extreme Group took home top honours at the annual ICE Awards Friday night, recognizing the region’s best advertising and design. We received the Best of Show award for the Atlantic Film Festival Bright Lights entry.
Extreme received 20 awards in total: five gold, three silver, ten merit awards and the Craft award for www.notworthit.ca for the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia.
“This was a great night for our industry in Atlantic Canada,” said Paul LeBlanc, CEO. “We have amazing work, happening right here. And it’s only going to get better.”
The 2007 ICE Awards, which stands for Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise, represent the sixth year for Atlantic Canada’s advertising creative awards show. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the ICE Awards brings together advertising agencies and clients from around the region to vie for coveted Nova Scotian Crystal ICE Buckets.
The goal of the ICE Awards is to increase the quality of advertising creative produced in Atlantic Canada. The annual event is organized by a diverse group of Atlantic Canadian advertising and marketing professionals to celebrate creative advertising made in Atlantic Canada. ICE shares the conviction that advocating for best practices in our industry will contribute to this region’s economy, while helping attract and serve marketing-oriented businesses.
Judges reviewed more than 500 submissions from local advertising and marketing agencies with 15 gold, 15 silver and 40 merit awards in 30 categories.
